RETINOL NIGHT REPAIR

Use at night only. Apply a small amount to perfectly cleansed skin. Do not use at the same time as vitamin C products such as Exo C Booster or Pure Vitamin C Powder Cream; keep those for the morning.

If your skin is sensitive or you are new to retinol, start with twice a week and build up gradually as your skin's tolerance develops, up to five times a week. Apply SPF the following morning, as retinol makes skin more sensitive to light. A little shedding and redness can occur at first; if peeling continues, reduce how often you use it.

SERUM REPAIR

Apply one drop to the face, neck and décolleté after cleansing, morning and night. If layering rather than blending serums, always apply first. Use alone or blended with any serum from the Dr Sebagh Serum Bar.

RETINOL NIGHT REPAIR

Retinol (Vitamin A)

Increases skin firmness, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improves skin tone, reduces age spots and refines skin texture. It has an exfoliating effect on the epidermis, eliminating dead cells, stimulating cell renewal and boosting radiance. Helps to fight free radicals (especially those induced by UV rays) and acts on the regulation of melanocytes, the cells that pigment the skin causing brown spots. It is also anti-inflammatory.

Retinol increases epidermal proliferation and stimulates the production of collagen, elastin and fibronectin. It increases the level of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) and the number of Langerhans cells, and decreases the activity of collagenase and gelatinase (MMPs), helping to decrease collagen breakdown. By stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, the ‘structuring’ elements of the skin, retinol helps to improve firmness and elasticity, while boosting its hyaluronic acid content.
