Laminaria Digitata Extract

sourced in Brittany in pure, unpolluted water. Selected amongst hundreds of seaweed species due to its rich content of proteins, amino acids and vitamins including vitamins A, C, D, E and K as well as minerals such as iron and calcium. It is know to promote collagen production and also for its anti-inflammatory properties. Magnesium and Zinc have been known to help improve the appearance of redness in sensitive skin. Equisetum Arvense (Horsetail) Extract

contains a high content of antioxidant substances and minerals, including silicon, potassium, calcium and phytoesterols. Soothes irritation whilst moisturising the skin.

Hydrolyzed Soy Protein

an amino-peptidic complex obtained from soya beans. Rich in peptides, amino-acids and minerals essential for skin regeneration. A source of isoflavones, a phytoestrogen (plant estrogen) with a a high affinity with estrogen receptors in skin cells. When activated, these receptors boost the number of fibroblast cells and glycosaminoglycans. Topical application of isoflavones affects epithelial thickness, collagen and elastin fibre density and vascularisation improving skin elasticity, thickness, density, and hydration.

Sodium Chondroitin Sulfate

a glycosaminoglycan from marine origin, similar in structure to Hyaluronic Acid. Has a comparable water-binding ability and better affinity for the skin's surface forming a water-rich film on the skin leading to an immediate and potent moisturising effect.

Hydrolyzed Collagen

comprised of peptide chains which, when applied topically, boost elastin and collagen production in the skin. Improves skin barrier function to prevent TEWL and operates as an antioxidant.

Gentiana Lutea Extract

anti-inflammatory and rich in antioxidant phenolic compounds and phytosterols. Triggers the production of ceramide precursors on the skin to improve skin barrier function.

Phoenix Dactylifera (Date) Seed Extract

a source of isoflavones, ursolic acid, phytosterols, antioxidant tocotrienols and Vitamin A. Improves skin elasticity, stimulates fibroblasts and collagen production, increased skin hydration and an anti-inflammatory effect. Proven to have a significant impact on the visible signs of skin ageing, including the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Helianthus Anuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil

rich in beneficial fatty acids especially linoleic acid which helps the skin to synthesize its own lipids, including ceramides, to visibly repair the skin barrier leading to smoother, healthier-looking skin.

Rapeseed Sterols

phytosterols have been shown to inhibit enzymes which degenerate collagen fibres, slowing the loss of elasticity that comes with age. Promotes cellular regeneration, boosting collagen and hyaluronic acid synthesis to repair the skin barrier, reducing TEWL. Also known to have skin-soothing, anti-inflammatory benefits.

Oleyl Erucate

a rich emollient ester with conditioning lipids from jojoba oil.

Retinyl Palmitate

a retinol (Vitamin A) ester that is less efficacious than retinol but still an effective antioxidant that is more tolerable to sensitive skin types. Promotes skin cell turnover, improves skin tone, boosts collagen synthesis and increases dermal thickness.
