What is Ultralift™ Long-Pulse HIFU technology?
Ultralift™ LP HIFU uses Multi-Functional High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (Multi-Functional HIFU) to stimulate the deep structural support layers of the skin.
During treatment, warm pulses of ultrasound energy are delivered deep under the skin, causing the muscle layer to contract. At the same time, the gentle heat also encourages the healthy, natural process of rejuvenation, simulating the skin to produce its own fresh new collagen and making it firmer, brighter and more elastic. Over time, the skin becomes tighter, as more new elastic collagen builds.
The Dr Sebagh Ultralift™ LP machine achieves a more intense concentration of ultrasound energy, creating thermal coagulation points which trigger a more intense response, resulting in maximum collagen formation.
What is the Ultralift™ Eye Treatment?
A new bespoke head attachment, commissioned by Dr Sebagh, and specifically shaped to reach the eye area, means that the power of The Ultralift™ LP (HIFU) can be used to tighten the loose orbicularis oculi muscle in the upper and lower eye lid area, which will substantially improve, if not eliminate, a drooping upper eyelid. Dr Sebagh and his team also use this bespoke head to lift and tighten the brow area.
Details of the Procedure
Following a consultation, your doctor will start by prepping the skin for treatment, sanitising the treatment area and removing any makeup. The doctor will then proceed to apply ultrasound gel to the treatment area before delivering pulses of ultrasound energy to the eye contour and brow bone using the bespoke attachment exclusive to The Dr Sebagh Clinic.
How quickly will I see results?
Immediately after this short treatment the eyes look wider, brighter and more rested, achieving a ‘mini brow and eye lift’. The full effect of the treatment will appear over time, as ageing collagen and elastin are replaced.
What are the risks?
The revolutionary technology of The Ultralift™ LP (HIFU) machine means that the ultrasound energy is precisely targeted and focused to the specific layer of the skin specified by the doctor. As such, there is no risk of damage to the ocular system with The Ultralift Eye Treatment.
Some patients may experience slight redness in the treatment area, however this should subside within an hour or so.
How long is the recovery period?
Downtime is practically non-existent with patients able to resume their normal activities immediately after treatment. You should avoid exposing your skin to extremes of heat and cold and protect your skin with SPF. Your normal makeup regime can be followed immediately.
