Formulated with the body's natural process of coagulative necrosis in mind, the Scizersonic utilises Macro-Focused Scanning Ultrasound 9MFSU) technology to target and reduce localised fat deposits through hyperthermic injury to adipocyte cells. Not only is Scizersonic able to specifically target stubborn areas of fat but it can reduce belly fat, for example, by up to 3 inches after just 20 minutes of treatment.

Macro-Focused Scanning Ultrasound concentrates uniform thermal energy on fat cells which disrupts their cell membranes without damaging any other surrounding tissue. By focusing heat only on adipocyte cells, the Scizersonic causes these cells to undergo natural cell death (necrosis) and trigger the presence of macrophages in the treatment area to process the cellular debris left after the fat cells are destroyed. The Scizersonic then transfers an equal distribution of MFSU into the target areas for absolute and effective body contouring.

The Scizersonic machines feature two different MFSU powered cartridges which target subcutaneous fat cells at different depths, without diffusing thermal energy on surrounding tissue. What's more, the dual handpieces allow for targeted fat reduction to occur in different areas and at different depths simultaneously.

Scizersonic is an effective treatment to reduce stubborn fat deposits of 1 inch (2.5cm) or thicker in the abdominal area, upper thighs, love handles and flanks. The Scizersonic cannot be used for targeted fat reduction in other areas. One session of Scizersonic can achieve an average of 2.5cm in abdominal waist circumference reduction.

A single treatment with Scizersonic lasts around 20 minutes depending on the treatment area and power levels deemed comfortable by each patient, making it the most efficient and effective ultrasound body-contouring machine available.

First, one of the doctors from our clinic will calculate your BMI and perform the 'pinch test' to ensure your suitability for the treatment which requires fat deposits to be 1 inch or thicker. Next, your doctor will mark out the treatment area with a grid outline and set the parameters of the Scizer machine accordingly. Then, a light mist of water is sprayed on to the treatment area; water acts as an agent between your skin and the Scizersonic handpiece. The treatment will then commence whereby your doctor will place the handpiece on the treatment area and deliver 'shots' of MSFU to target and reduce fat cells.

Pain levels experienced by patients tend to vary, however the Scizersonic attachments function with a Contact Cooling Control that applies an anaesthetic / numbing effect on the surface area being treated. This minimises any sensations of pain for maximum comfort during the treatment.

Temporary redness, mild bruising, minimal discomfort and swelling may occur. These symptoms are considered part of the process and not side effects. However, based on the fact that treatment lengths and power levels applied on each patient differentiates, the symptom signs may vary case by case. These side effects should resolve within a week or two.

Patients will start to notice a difference in the volume of subcutaneous fat tissue 4-12 weeks after treatment.

Fat cells are permanently destroyed after one treatment with Scizersonic but the number of treatment sessions required depends on the volume of excess fat and personal goals for fat reduction. After your first Scizersonic treatment you must wait 12 weeks before booking another treatment session.
