Dr Sebagh's Body Perfecting Treatment is an exclusive hi-tech anti-cellulite treatment. It is a common misconception that cellulite is caused by an excess of body fat. Cellulite occurs more frequently in women due to the vertical arrangement of fat cells and connective tissue. As fat cells accumulate, they are pushed upwards due to the strong connective tissue fibres that anchor the skin to muscle underneath. This is what causes skin to have a dimpled, 'orange-peel' appearance. The more body fat you have, the more prevalent cellulite is likely to be however, cellulite can just as easily occur even with a healthy level of body fat. That is why dieting and liposuction have no effect on cellulite; these methods cannot alter the structure of fat cells and connective tissue, making cellulite a stubborn problem to solve.

Able to be personalised to each individual patient, our Body Perfecting Treatment can conquer cellulite for any patient of any age.

Before treatment begins your doctor will undertake a consultation where the grade of cellulite present is assessed, taking into account the hormonal genetic age of the patient as well as the condition of their skin. A made-to-measure programme will then be implemented starting with vitamin injections via mesotherapy gun (Meso Body Slim), followed by treatment with the Ultralift machine (Ultra Bodylift). Finally, Radiofrequency with Microneedling or Scizersonic is administered to the desired treatment area or whole body.

The different procedures involved in Body Perfecting Treatment have varying levels of discomfort. Whilst mesotherapy injections are virtually painless, RF Microneedling can be slightly more uncomfortable and the most pain is associated with the Ultra Bodylift where pain medication is recommended prior to treatment.

Although vitamin injections via mesotherapy gun and Ultra Bodylift are available to the majority of individuals there are certain contraindications for RadioFrequency with Microneedling. The following conditions may preclude patients from being suitable for the Body Perfecting Treatment:

• Patients fitted with a defibrillator or pacemaker
• Patients with mental implants
• Cancer
• Autoimmuune disease
• Skin disease
• Patients taking Roaccutane

Aftercare and downtime varies for each stage of the Body Perfecting Treatment. Both Ultra Bodylift and Mesotherapy injections have virtually no downtime. RF Microneedling requires 3-4 hours of downtime when there might be some bruising.
