New Radio Frequency with Micro Needling

New to the Dr Sebach clinic, Explore/Scarlet combines the proven results of Fractional Radio Frequency and skin needling within minimal downtime.

Independently, both of these treatments are increasing in popularity. Fractional Radio Frequency has been gaining favour with practitioners and patients alike and has been shown to give impressive results on a wide range of skin types.

Explore / Scarlet brings both technologies together, with low downtime.

It works by delivering precise columns of micro-fractional bi-polar RF energy to stimulate a range of results: skin tightening, improved skin texture, pore minimisation, wrinkle reduction, acne scar reduction, improved skin tone, improved skin brightness and skin rejuvenation.

Explore offers the advantage of being able to choose between invasive and non-invasive treatment options, for superior results.

More about RF and RF needling technology

The fractional RF technology treats the target area through the rapid penetration of insulated micro-needles without causing extensive damage to the epidermis. Through the action of the micro-needles, a tiny column is created that facilitates healing and brings about a growth factor that develops the mechanism of natural recovery with the effect being similar to that of peeling, but with minimal impact on the epidermis.

At the same time, the device emits a high-tensioned RF pulse onto the treatment area. The fractional RF thermolysis occurs in the target area and selectively degenerates the collagen fibres between the superficial dermis and muscle band. The collagen fibres deteriorate, promoting the construction of new collagen through a stimulus of the fibroblasts.

Explore / Scarlet Invasive RF: Dermal heating and micro-needling are combined to induce micro-wounds which provide ablation, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, increasing fibroblast activity and health within the skin.

Explore Non-invasive RF: Superficial fractional RF consists of blunt electrodes that rest on the skin to deliver treatment for epidermal conditions such as skin resurfacing. The remodelling of the collagen leads to clinically discernible improvement in the sagging skin and skin quality; the remodelling of deep dermal collagen (fibrous septae) allows modelling of contours and improvement in the appearance of cellulite.

What kind of results can I expect?

The results vary between individuals, but most patients report improvement in the skin texture within several days. As it takes some time for your body to produce collagen, the tightening effect and final results are going to appear gradually over six months.

How many sessions are required?

Usually 3-4 sessions, every one to three months, depending on the treated skin condition, are needed to provide significant results.

Is the procedure uncomfortable?

Explore and Scarlet are very well tolerated by most patients with topical anesthetic cream.

What should I expect after treatment?

Immediately after the procedure there will be slight redness, or red squares and possibly minimal swelling, all of which should resolve within hours.
